Content-Based Video Copy Detection

P-VCD is an open source software to address the problem of video copy detection, i.e., to efficiently detect similar video excerpts in video collections.

P-VCD is the result of the PhD thesis work Content-Based Video Copy Detection.

P-VCD has been used at TRECVID tasks: Content-Based Copy Detection (CCD) 2010-2011, Instance Search (INS) 2012-2014 and Multimedia Event Detection (MED) 2013-2014.
